Our
Story.
Jason Williams, founder of Forged Pathways, often reflects on his own journey of redemption by saying "I went to a place with no windows just to get a real view on life." After spending twelve years in prison, Jason's profound personal transformation inspired him to create opportunities for others facing similar challenges.
Through Forged Pathways, he is dedicated to providing second chances and empowering individuals with the tools and resources for a brighter future. By working with Trade Unions their apprenticeship schools, and other organizations, Jason aims to illuminate multipule pathways of hope and stability, ensuring that individuals can overcome adversity and achieve social, mental, and financial freedom.
In his mission to give back to the community, Jason hopes to prevent youth from facing the agony and pain of incarceration and family separation that he once experienced himself.

Our Work.
Mentorship
Our commitment to the next generation of skilled tradespeople
goes far beyond the classroom. We bridge the gap between
potential and placement by pairing our youth with seasoned
Journeymen and Journeywomen who understand the path
ahead.
Apprenticeship
We are proud to work alongside the following organizations to
bridge the gap between our community’s youth and a lifelong
career. Our Apprenticeship Readiness Program ensures that
every potential apprentice has a clear path to success turning classroom theory into real-world
expertise.
Partnership
Success in the skilled trades is built on solid foundations and
strong alliances. Our partners represent a shared commitment to excellence, equity, and the strengthening of the local workforce. We all ensure that we provide a direct, high-quality path into the middle class.
Employment
Our contractors stay invested in
our members' growth. When an apprentice tops out as a
Journeyman or Journeywoman, these partners provide the
steady, high-wage employment needed to practice their craft
at the highest level. Our contractors don't just build buildings; they build the lives of our members.
Our Mission.
Forging Pathways
Through Mentorship
Discover how Forged Pathways mentorship plays a vital role in reducing recidivism rates among young individuals who have been in juvenile detention. Studies show that mentorship programs significantly decrease the likelihood of reoffending by providing guidance, support, and positive role models. At Forged Pathways, we are committed to offering impactful mentorship opportunities to empower youth and create a brighter future for our community.
